REFLEXOLOGY

What Is Reflexology
Reflexology is a simple, effective, non-invasive therapy performed on the feet (or hands).

It is based on the principle that there are reflex zones in the feet and hands which are linked by energy pathways to corresponding parts of the body.

Stress, illness, injury or disease can block these energy pathways. Using specific finger and thumb massage techniques, stimulates the movement of energy to unblock these pathways.

The Benefits of Reflexology include
  • Helps to relieve stress and tension and aids relaxation
  • Helps to detoxify the body
  • Stimulates the body's own natural healing ability both physically and emotionally
  • Helps improve circulation
  • Helps unblock energy pathways
HOMEOPATHY

What Is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is the science and art of treatment and prevention of disease as developed by Samuel Hahnemann. The main task of a homoeopath is to find the right remedy for you. The correct homeopathic remedy stimulates the organism to heal itself, it is like an information that the organism needs to reclaim its lost balance.

Safe
Homeopathy is one of the safest forms of medicine. The substances used are in an extremely diluted form since they are used for their energetic properties and not the chemical ones.

What Can Homeopathy Treat?
Homeopathy can treat physical as well as mental and emotional problems. People come to homeopathy for both acute and chronic ailments. These include headaches, insomnia, menstrual problems, arthritis, depression, anxiety, lack of concentration and many others.

Who Can Be Treated?
Adults, elderly, children and infants, can all be benefited by homeopathy.

What Happens During The Consultation?
During the initial consultation you will be asked for detailed information about your complaints. These will include general questions about yourself, these will include information about your body temperature, dietary habits, personality etc. Finally, with your permission, there will be a physical examination that will include a visual inspection of your tongue, pulse taking, abdominal examination etc.

ACUPUNCTURE

What is Acupuncture?
Acupuncture has existed as part of traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years but it's only in the past 30 years that it has become integrated into general medicine.

Practitioners believe that energy called qi flows around your body through 12 channels (meridians). Each meridian is associated with a different organ system. An imbalance in the flow of qi throughout a meridian is how disease begins. The needles used in acupuncture aim to restore this balance.

The way acupuncture works is being increasingly understood in general medicine. In this setting, it's based on the idea that acupuncture needles stimulate nerve endings and alter the way your brain functions.

Are the needles safe?
The needles used are sterilised, pre-packed and disposable. The acupuncturist practices under the safety standards of the British Acupuncture Council.
